Jiehua Chen

Jiehua Chen obtained her PhD in the research group of Prof. Rolf Niedermeier from TU Berlin, Germany in 2015. After that she was a Postdoc at TU Berlin, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, and at the University of Warsaw in Poland. Since October 2019, she is an assistant professor at the TU Wien in Austria. Her research interests lie in the fine-grained complexity of, and the algorithm design and analysis for, combinatorial problems such as preference-based voting, matching, and fair allocation problems.

Sanjukta Roy pursued her PhD from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), India, with Prof. Saket Saurabh. She has submitted her doctoral thesis and is awaiting her degree to be conferred from the IMSc, India. Previously, she had acquired her Masters in TCS at Chennai Mathematical Institute, India in 2015. Her research interests include Algorithms, Parameterized Algorithms, Computational Social Choice Theory, Algorithmic Game Theory. She has worked on problems related to stable matching, voting, manipulation etc.
