I'm a postdoc in the Algorithms and Complexity Group employed under the FWF project X-TRACT. My primary research interests lie in the design of algorithms for NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems, often via the development of new graph theoretic tools in combination with classical optimization techniques. My current research goals include the development of mathematical models for the analysis of preprocessing algorithms and expanding the scope of structural graph theory to the design of fast algorithms for constraint satisfaction and combinatorial testing of software systems.
I completed my Ph.D in Theoretical Computer Science in July 2013, from The Institute of Mathematical Sciences in India and was a post-doc at University of Bergen, Norway from August 2013 to July 2015.
UPDATE: I will be moving to University of Warwick in October 2017.
