Posted on by Jiehua Chen

I am offering a fully funded PhD position (3 years with the possibility of extension, salary: about 2929 Euros gross x 14 months per year) for my WWTF research project titled 2018 VRG-ICT research project Structural and Algorithmic Aspects of Preference-based Problems in Social Choice, funded by the Wiener Wissenschafts-, Forschungs- und Technologiefonds (WWTF).

The project is about algorithm design and complexity analysis for problems arising from Algorithmic Social Choice, with a special focus on voting theory and matchings under preferences.

The position is available immediately and the starting date is flexible. Applicants with a solid background in areas such as algorithm design (including but not limited to parameterized algorithms and approximation algorithms), computational complexity, and/or discrete mathematics are strongly encouraged to apply.

Please send your application, including
