This is the website of the Algorithms and Complexity Group of the Faculty of Informatics, TU Wien, Vienna, Austria, headed by Prof. Stefan Szeider. The group was formerly known as the Algorithms and Data Structures Group and is part of the Institute of Computer Graphics and Algorithms.
The group's research is concerned with the development and analysis of efficient algorithms for hard computational problems arising in a wide range of practical applications, as well as the establishment of theoretical limits of algorithmic approaches. The group contributes to the research area Logic and Computation which is among the five focus areas of the Faculty of Informatics.
The Algorithms and Complexity Group is involved in teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science, as well as the supervision of Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral students.
